Wildfire investigation in Yamanashi

We conducted a field survey of the wildland fire that occurred on Mt. Ogiyama in Yamanashi Prefecture in January 2026. Approximately 400 hectares were burned in total in Otsuki City and Uenohara City.

2026年1月に山梨県の扇山で発生した林野火災の現地調査を行いました．大月市と上野原市の合計で約400ヘクタールが焼けました

We had a wonderful reunion in Ginza with our PhD graduates and current students. Nicharee, who completed our PhD program in October 2024, is now working as a postdoctoral researcher at Case Western Reserve University.
