The 10th Forum for Advanced Fire Education/Research in Asia

Gave a talk on wildfire research at the 10th Forum for Advanced Fire Education/Research in Asia , organized by the Center for Fire Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science. 東京理科大学火災科学研究所が主催した国際フォーラムで林野火災研究について紹介しました． I am wearing the tie I received from the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence! バングラデシュからの参加者にいただいたネクタイをしています！ We visited the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel  on March 7. What a huge facility! This facility is to prevent flooding. 3月7日には首都圏外郭放水路の見学にも行きました．洪水を防ぐための巨大な施設です． We also visited the  Honjo Disaster Prevention Hall . I got so excited that I forgot to take a photo... 本所防災館の見学にも行きました．楽しみすぎて写真を撮り忘れてしまいました．

Collaborative Experiments with Prof. Tomohiko Imamura of Suwa University of Science

Prof. Tomohiko Imamura from Suwa University of Science and his team visited our laboratory to conduct collaborative experiments. This project is supported by the Joint Usage/Research Center Program of Tokyo University of Science, which is currently accepting research proposals with a submission deadline of March 6, 2026. 諏訪東京理科大学の 今村友彦教授 の研究チームが東京理科大学に滞在し，火災科学研究所実験棟で実験を行いました．本学火災安全科学研究拠点の共同研究として採択された研究プロジェクトです．なお，当研究拠点では， 2026年度の共同利用・共同研究の募集を行っています ．締め切りは2026年3月6日（金）です．
